M[C]H On CNN.com!
I just thought this was cool and wanted to share. Movie[Crack]House was featured on cnn.com’s entertainment page where they reviewed Hancock! I’m not sure how long it’ll be up, but here’s the actual link: Movie[Crack]House on CNN.com
If you click on the link, you’ll see CNN’s review of Hancock [with what I think is my image, see below], and then if you scroll down and click on “From the Blogs” you’ll see a subhead called “Blogs talking about this topic:” and that’s where we are!
… and I’m not 100% certain, but I think they used my image for the article. Which of course is fine – it was never mine to begin with, but the color looks the same as mine – because I always edit the images I post to give them a little more saturation and contrast. Normally when images are taken from movie stills, they’re a bit washed out. They’re not meant to be used as static images, so I like to make them pop more… you be the judge [click on the thumbnails to see full-sized image].
The first thumbnail is the CNN page with the image in question, the second is a side-by-side comparison of the original image [courtesy of allmoviephoto.com] vs. my color-corrected image…
Anyway… it tickled me to think someone over there might be reading my reviews when you think of how many thousands of movie blogs there must be out here on the interwebs… But of course, in the end I hope everyone enjoys them and finds them helpful. ;)
Cheers!
